Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety at project sites and factory locations in Kajang, Malaysia. You will monitor HSE compliance and lead safety inspections, briefings, and incident reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, a valid Yellow Book and CIDB card, and a Diploma or Certificate in OSH or related field. You will collaborate with contractors and clients while promoting safe work practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of site safety supervision experience.
• Valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor Certification) and CIDB card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain safety documentation (HIRARC, permits, safety reports).
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and clients on HSE matters.
• Lead toolbox meetings and safety briefings for workers.
• Maintain records for safety compliance and audits.
• Assist in incident reporting and investigation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and relevant regulations.

Oversee and manage all safety-related matters at project sites and factory locations.

Monitor and ensure HSE compliance for all site activities and operations.

Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation such as HIRARC, work permits, and safety reports.

Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

Implement corrective and preventive measures to resolve safety-related issues on site.

Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and clients regarding HSE matters.

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for workers.

Ensure workers comply with safety regulations, use proper PPE, and follow safe work procedures.

Maintain proper records and documentation for safety compliance and audit purposes.

Support project teams in implementing company safety policies and procedures.

Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and preparation of safety reports when required.

Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant safety regulations.

Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance with site safety requirements.

Assist during safety audits, inspections, or regulatory authority visits.

Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Other Attributes & Pre-requisites :

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in site safety supervision, preferably in M&E, construction or industrial projects.
• Valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor Certification)
• Valid CIDB card
