Job summary

Zeus Solution Engineering Sdn Bhd is hiring a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee daily safety activities on site in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru. You will conduct toolbox talks, monitor PTW compliance, perform site inspections, and enforce HSE procedures to prevent incidents.

The role requires valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) — Yellow Book recognition by DOSH/JKKP and the ability to manage safety records, incident reporting, and weekly/monthly safety reports for a 1-year contractual assignment.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Yellow Book competency registration recognized by DOSH/JKKP.
• Contract basis for 1 year.
• Based in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Maintain daily safety inspection records and site observation reports.
• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) compliance for applicable activities.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential hazards.
• Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved HIRARC, JSEA, Method Statements, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Ensure that workers comply with PPE requirements, site safety rules, and project HSE procedures.
• Immediately report unsafe work and recommend corrective actions, including stop-work intervention where necessary.
• Verify that safety controls are implemented before and during work activities.
• HSE documentation & Compliance.
• Review and monitor implementation of HIRARC, JSEA, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
• Preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists, training records, and corrective action registers.
