Job summary

Zalam Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor to manage site measurement, cost control, and subcontractor coordination on construction projects in Malaysia. The role includes handling progress claims, variation orders, cost reporting, and final accounts.

You will verify subcontractor claims, monitor budgets, and ensure timely certification and payments, with emphasis on quality and cost effectiveness across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Site Quantity Surveyor experience preferred.
• Understanding of quantity surveying processes on construction sites.

Job description

Site Quantity Surveyor role responsible for site measurement, progress claims, variation orders, cost control, subcontractor management, contract administration, final account preparation, and reporting and coordination on construction projects.

Key responsibilities

Measure actual work completed on site

Check quantities against drawings and BQ

Prepare monthly progress claims

Verify subcontractors' claims and work done

Follow up on certification and payment

Identify additional and change works

Measure and prepare VO quotations

Monitor VO submission and approval

Monitor project costs against budget

Track subcontractor and material costs
