Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru is seeking a Site QS/Quantity Surveyor, fresh graduates welcome. The role focuses on on-site measurement, taking-off quantities, and supporting progress claims. Training will be provided to develop field knowledge and cost management skills.

The successful candidate will collaborate with site teams, subcontractors and consultants, and must be willing to travel to site with basic Excel skills; AutoCAD/CostX is a plus.

Qualifications

We are a main contractor in Johor looking for a Site QS who is willing to learn and explore more on field works.

Responsibilities

Site measurement and quantity take-off

Assist in preparing progress claims and subcontractor payments

Record site variations and prepare supporting documents

Assist in BQ preparation and rate checking

Coordinate with site team, subcontractors and consultants

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

Fresh graduates and interns are welcome, training provided

Willing to go to site regularly

Own transport and valid driving licence

Basic Excel skills; AutoCAD / CostX is an advantage

Detail-oriented, responsible and eager to learn
