Job summary

Liberty Icons Sdn Bhd is seeking a project-oriented engineer to assist the Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer in planning, monitoring and controlling daily works at project sites. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, ensuring drawings and specifications are followed, attending site meetings, and contributing to progress, schedule and budget while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent fields.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience in the industry or relevant field is a plus.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to travel locally when required.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and CAD is a plus.
Must be independent and self-motivated in carry out work and duty assigned.
Must possess leadership qualities in managing sub-contractors, site workers and involves in discussion with Clients or Clients' representatives.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to plan, monitor and control daily works at project sites.
Plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractors’ activities at project sites.
Prepare project claims and attend site meetings to monitor project progress and ensure schedule, budget and requirements are being met.
Ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, method statements etc.
Ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such are to conform to specifications.
Submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
Ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
Maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
