Job summary

Averis is seeking a Site Manager to oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role requires coordinating with civil contractors, clients, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities on-site, identify risks, and implement remedial actions as needed, while maintaining safety and compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or civil engineering.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate with contractors.
• Strong grasp of construction processes and safety standards (OSHA).

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with civil contractor to meet target schedule and mechanical equipment delivery plan
• Liaise with client on the execution of project to meet target
• Meeting with subcontractor on site execution with all aspect to meet planned schedule
• Ad hoc arrangement to handle all issue happen at site
• Remedial plan to achieve target from time to time when foreseen any issue that out of target.
• Ensure all site activities as planned.
• Ensure site work quality such as workmanship, standard of welding etc,
• Ensure no extra cost incurred and any site purchase items
• Any other matter appointed by top management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to identify project risks, delays, or cost overruns and implement effective remedial and recovery plans.
• Experience in handling site issues, variation works, and cost control to prevent unnecessary or unauthorised expenditure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
