Job summary

Flex is seeking a Finance Controller in Prai, Penang to manage the site’s finance and accounting functions. You will partner with the GM and lead a team to ensure compliant, accurate financial processes.

Responsibilities include driving profitability, cash flow, and long-term performance, plus implementing process improvements and finance digitization. A strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience and training.
• A background in manufacturing/cost accounting is preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance and accounting function for site(s) and ensure compliance.
• Lead the finance team and partner with the General Manager.
• Drive profitability, cash flow planning and long-term performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and finance digitization.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local laws, and US GAAP.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts and audits.
• Drive HR strategies and culture actions to recruit and retain talent.
