Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a skilled Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to lead and oversee project progress on construction sites in Johor. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate with purchasing and contracts for materials, ensure drawings compliance, and support the Project Manager through all project phases.

The role requires a minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel within Johor.

Qualifications

• Candidate shall possess a minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in construction, project supervision, or related field.
• IOW certification will be an added advantage.
• Analytical skills to handle multiple tasks by priority under pressure.
• Traveling around Johor area is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and progress, and provide oversight for all project phases to the Project Manager.
• Liaise with internal departments for materials ordering and progress claim processes.
• Ensure technical details and drawings are complied with.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to prepare related reports and documents up to handover.
• Provide on-site technical advice and participate in technical meetings.
• Attend project progress and site condition reporting meetings.

Job Description

Supervise daily site activities and progress as well as to provide the Project Manager with oversight for all phases of the construction project.

Liaise with internal parties, such as the purchasing and contract departments, for materials ordering and progress claim processes.

Ensure technical details and drawings are complied.

Coordinate with internal and external parties to prepare related reports and documents up to the handing-over stage.

Problem-solving and providing technical advice on-site.

Presentation during technical meetings.

Attend project meetings for project progress and site condition reporting.

Carry out tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidate shall possesses a minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of working experience is required in construction, project supervision, or related field.

Candidates with IOW certification will be an added advantage.

Candidates shall perform analytical skills to handle multiple tasks by priority under pressure.

Travelling around Johor area is required.
