Tuah Bersatu Jaya Sdn Bhd in Sabah seeks an experienced Site Engineer/QA QC to join our Civil/Structural Engineering team. This full-time role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to specifications on construction sites, with responsibilities spanning site oversight, QA/QC testing, and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering and has 3–5 years in relevant roles, along with knowledge of Malaysian standards, testing procedures,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of site engineer or QA/QC experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and codes.
• Familiarity with Malaysian standards and regulations.
• Proficient in quality testing equipment and construction docs software.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Perform QA/QC testing on materials, concrete, and steel.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports and test certificates.
• Identify defects and safety issues; implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, clients and authorities.
• Manage site safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Witness and verify testing activities and inspections.
• Prepare progress and quality reports and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate with laboratory testing services.
• Maintain site cleanliness and proper storage of materials.
