Job summary

ZhongXiang Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring and controlling daily site activities at civil construction projects in Malaysia.

You will attend weekly meetings, ensure conformance to the Project Quality Plan and specifications, supervise site works, coordinate subcontractors, and prepare monthly reports. A Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years’ experience are required; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field (Building, Infrastructure).
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to work independently.
• Bored piling work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• 6 days working week (Mon–Sat, 8am–6pm).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to plan, monitor and control daily activities at project site.
• Attend weekly meetings and coordination meetings.
• Coordinate and proactively manage site progress, subcontractor performance and site organization.
• Supervise and check site works against drawings, specifications and schedule.
• Prepare documents and monthly reports for site works.
