Job summary

HOU KEONG CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring work follows drawings, specs and project requirements. You will coordinate site workers, subcontractors and suppliers, monitor progress, manage materials and enforce safety rules.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability to the construction site environment. This position reports to the Project Manager and requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years construction experience.
Experience with jack in pile and micro pile is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to adapt to the construction site working environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
Monitor construction progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.
Ensure sufficient materials, tools, and manpower are available to meet project schedules.
Enforce site safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Inspect workmanship quality and rectify any defects or non-conformance when necessary.
Maintain daily site records, reports, and site documentation.
Ensure works are completed on time and in accordance with the approved construction schedule.
