Job summary

HOE KEAT CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a responsible Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to join our team in Selangor, Malaysia.

You will manage construction site activities, coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site workers, and ensure works follow drawings, specifications and schedules. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 2 years in civil/site management, willingness to work Saturdays and travel to project sites, and a valid driving

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction site management.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and site operations.
• Able to handle both site management and administrative/documentation work.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on Saturdays and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction and civil engineering works at project sites.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials and site activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Prepare and manage all necessary site documentation, reports, submissions and paperwork.
• Check drawings, measurements and work completed on site.
• Identify and resolve site issues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure projects are completed within the required timeline and quality standards.
