Job summary

Alkara Solution is seeking a Civil Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site activities, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs and programmes. You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, monitor productivity and resolve issues while upholding safety and quality.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 1–3 years of relevant experience, ability to interpret drawings, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in civil engineering, infrastructure, bridge or structural construction preferred.
• Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge may be considered.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and work programmes
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site supervisors and construction teams
• Ensure sufficient manpower, materials, machinery and equipment are available to support site progress
• Monitor daily site productivity and resolve construction issues
• Review construction drawings, specifications and method statements before execution
• Check setting-out, levels, dimensions and alignment of construction works
• Monitor site progress against the approved construction programme and prepare daily and weekly progress reports
• Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship complies with project specifications
• Ensure construction activities comply with site safety requirements and coordinate with the Site Safety Supervisor
• Maintain site records, inspection checklists and construction documentation
