Job summary

Alkara Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Bridge Works Site Supervisor to oversee on-site bridge construction activities in Subang Jaya, Selangor. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications and timelines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and manage subcontractors to deliver project milestones. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bridge construction or civil engineering experience with supervision.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction techniques, materials and safety standards.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple trades on complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• CIDB certification or equivalent construction management qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all bridge works on site, including delivery, installation and assembly of structural components.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs and approved construction methodologies.
• Manage site safety protocols and health & safety measures.
• Monitor progress and record daily activities, labour hours and materials used.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and other site supervisors.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Identify and report delays, risks or quality issues to senior management.
• Maintain site discipline and adhere to company policies.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure their work meets standards.
• Perform inspections and rectify defects before handover.
