Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site construction supervisor to oversee daily activities at Puncak Alam and Kelana Jaya sites in Selangor. The role requires coordinating with sub-contractors, main-contractors and team members, while ensuring safety and compliance with contract requirements and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil/Construction/Structural) with at least 1 year of experience. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Civil/ Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Proficient in communicating with team members, sub-contractors, main-contractors and other related parties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities on-site and monitor progress against deadlines.
• Plan, coordinate and manage subcontractors and other trades.
• Inspect sites regularly to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and documentation; lead site meetings.
• Recommending changes to operations to improve efficiency and safety.

• Candidate must be able to work at Puncak Alam and Kelana Jaya, SELANGOR construction sites.
• Minimum experience 1 year and above.
• Must possess a Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Civil/ Construction/Structural or equivalent
• Communicating with team members, sub-contractors, main-contractors and other related parties.
• To supervisor construction daily activities progress according to deadline.
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• To planning, monitor & coordinate of sub-contractors and other trades construction works.
• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Ensure all material use and works are carried out in accordance to the contract requirements, drawing, project time schedule.
• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee / workers attendance.
• Evaluating the performance of construction workers and instituting disciplinary measure as needed.
• Manage on site work progress, work schedule, work quality and document management, site meeting, sub-contractor progress claim status.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
• Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia and English.
