Job summary

HMB HOLDING SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to supervise site activities, coordinate project works, monitor progress and quality, and ensure timely completion in line with project requirements.

This role requires a Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD, plus strong communication and planning skills, are essential. Travel to various project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Good communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and work at multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and monitor daily construction activities at the project site to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all works follow approved drawings, specs, standards and project requirements.
• Monitor progress, productivity, workmanship quality and construction schedules for timely completion.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams on site matters.
• Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems and discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and update project documentation including site diaries, checklists and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company policies.

1. Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities at the project site to ensure smooth and efficient execution of works.

2. Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, construction standards, and project requirements.

3. Monitor project progress, site productivity, workmanship quality, and construction schedules to ensure timely completion of works.

4. Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments on site-related matters.

5. Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems, and construction discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.

6. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports to the Project Manager or relevant management personnel.

7. Maintain and update project documentation, including Site Diaries, Inspection Checklists, site progress records, approved drawings, and other technical documents.

8. Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent.

2. Minimum 3 year of relevant project engineering experience.

3. Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

4. Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
