Job summary

GLOBAL RADIANT MACHINE ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. seeks a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction and engineering activities at project sites in Malaysia, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs and client requirements.

You will coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and Supervisors, monitor progress, prepare daily reports and ensure safety compliance. Travel to sites around Malaysia and a valid driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure, underground cable installation, HDD or construction projects is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings, site supervision and project coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction and engineering activities at project sites
• Ensure site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Coordinate daily work activities with Site Supervisors, subcontractors and site workers
• Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed according to schedule
• Assist in supervising underground cable installation, cable laying and cable pulling activities
• Monitor Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), open-cut trenching and related civil works
• Coordinate cable jointing, termination and testing activities with relevant technical teams
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, manpower, machinery and work progress
• Ensure site activities comply with company safety procedures and applicable occupational safety requirements
• Willing to travel to project sites in Malaysia
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation, preferably

Job description

This role involves supervising and monitoring daily construction and engineering activities at project sites. You will ensure site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements, coordinating with Site Supervisors, subcontractors and site workers. You will monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule, identify and report site issues, delays and technical problems to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
