Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on site supervisor for bridge construction and infrastructure projects. You will manage and supervise day-to-day activities to ensure projects are executed on schedule and meet design and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders; liaising with Purchasing and QS; maintaining records; traveling to various site locations as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a site supervisor.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure workmanship quality and adherence to safety, design, and budget specifications.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on materials ordering and delivery status; liaise with QS on measurements and progress claims.
• Prepare and maintain project documents, reports, and attend progress meetings.
• Travel to different sites as required to support project activities.

Hands-On G7 Bumiputera Contractor Involved mainly in Bridge Construction & Infrastructure

• Manage and supervise day-to-day project activities to ensure projects are executed and on schedule
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Responsible and follow up to ensure good quality of workmanship
• Liaises with Purchasing on materials ordering schedule, checking on delivered products etc.
• Liaises with QS on measurement, progress claims, payments, variation orders, daily work etc.
• Compiling documents, reports and reporting and attending progress site meetings
• Any other jobs as may be assigned by the Superior from time to time
• Analyzing drawings to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate construction activities, materials, and manpower to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines, and adjust as necessary to meet project milestones.
• Maintain accurate records of on-site activities, progress, and issues, and report to project management.
• Travelling to different sites when necessary

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience working as a site supervisor.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
