Job summary

NL LAND CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a committed Project Engineer to join our civil construction teams in Peninsular Malaysia. You will manage site execution, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to safety standards.

The role covers design, tendering, and construction phases, requiring 2–5 years' experience, reading drawings, and strong communication. Travel may be required to project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of construction site experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Willingness to travel and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily site operations and construction activities.
• Plan work schedules and monitor site progress against timeline.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review drawings and specifications and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Ensure works comply with contract requirements and standards.
• Monitor material usage, site productivity and cost control.
• Assist in procurement planning and material coordination.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure site safety practices and regulatory compliance.
