Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an on-site HSE professional to monitor and implement HSE plans across project sites in Johor Bahru. You will organize daily toolbox talks, manage inspections, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure safety compliance and incident prevention.

Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive training and improvements. Requirements include a DOSH-certified SHO, First Aider, and Basic Fire Fighting training, with at least 3 years’

Qualifications

• Certified SHO by DOSH.
• 3+ years of HSE experience on project sites, preferably data center, construction or energy/electrical.
• Experience implementing ISO 45001 & 14001 on site.
• Able to deliver HSE training to workers and teams.
• Proficient with MS Office and report writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure HSE plan and procedures are implemented on site.
• Organize daily toolbox meetings and ensure POWRA/ST-5 conducted by each team leader.
• Prepare site HSE documents (emergency plan, induction, forms, site environment procedures).
• Conduct daily site HSE inspections of work area, tools, equipment and PPE.
• Review daily MySafety Focus reports and advise improvements related to HSE.
• Raise site HSE challenges to higher management if unresolved on site.
• Plan and organize weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and customers.
• Identify and report all hazards by the site team.
• Support Site Manager to review and verify work methods, risk assessments and permits to work by subcontractors.
• Verify PTW preparation by subcontractors on site before approval.
• Support Site Manager for client inspections and audits.
• Prepare HSE project daily, weekly and monthly reports (HSE statistics, KPI performances).
• Deliver site HSE training and induction.
• Ensure inspection checklists for tools, equipment and vehicles are conducted.
• Assist Site Manager in investigating near misses and minor incidents.

Job description

Monitoring and ensure HSE Plan & procedures and plans implementations on site.

Organize daily Tool Box Meeting & ensure POWRA/ST-5 conducted by each team leader

Prepare Site HSE Document (Emergency Plan, Induction, forms, Site environment procedures, minutes of meetings, inspection/audit follow up)

Qualification:

Certified SHO by DOSH

Has attend 1st Aider training

Has attend Basic Fire Fighting training

At least 3 year experience as HSE in Project Sites, preferred in data center, construction or energy/electrical sector.

Expertise in applying best practice HSE in following skills: Lifting Operations, Working at Elevated Locations, Electrical, Civil work & Confined space

Familiar with ISO 45001 & 14001 standards & implementation on site level

Able to communicate effectively and deliver training to all worker level for HSE implementation

Strong leadership to manage subcontractor at site

Familiar with MS Office applications (Office, SharePoint, MS-List, ACC) & able to read & write reports in English

Eligible and willing to work and stationed at Johor Bahru
