Job summary

Steris is seeking a warehouse associate in Port Klang, Malaysia to load/unload consignments, identify products, and ensure GDP-compliant documentation. You will help organize the warehouse and uphold QA and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift operation experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site in Port Klang and adhere to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload consignments from trucks and move goods within the factory.
• Identify and segregate products according to quality procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure documentation for each consignment is complete, accurate, and GDP compliant prior to release.
• Report any non-conformances observed at receipt, storage, processing, or pre-shipment to supervisor.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse to maximise usable space and clearly identify batches.
• Comply with company QA procedures and safety rules, maintaining good housekeeping.
• Carry out reasonable tasks assigned by superiors to keep site operations efficient.

Duties

• To load and unload consignment from truck and perform general movement of goods in factory.
• To identify and segregate products at all times as per quality procedures and work instruction.
• To ensure that document and record for each consignment is adequate, accurate and comply to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) prior release.
• To report any non-conformance found on products upon receipt, during storage, after processing and prior shipment to immediate supervisor and on hold as and when necessary.
• To assist in the organisation of the warehouse to maximise the useable space and ensure all batch of consignment to be processed or dispatched can be clearly identified.
• To comply fully to company rules, QA procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• To ensure good houskeeping practices are employed.
• To perform any reasonable request by superior in respect of the efficient running of the site.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

• Experience in Forklift handling - 1 years

This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved, including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training, email communications, and frequent meetings and interactions with English- only employees.
