ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang is seeking a Shift Technician (open to fresh graduates). You will supervise production operations in assigned lines and perform routine maintenance to keep production on schedule.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronic/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and a Certificate with 2 years semiconductor industry experience. You will diagnose issues, repair components, install equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Shift Technician ( open to fresh graduate )

Job Overview:

Responsible for maintaining and meeting production schedule by supervising the production operations in the lines or area allocated.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Replace or repair faulty components and wiring.
• Install and configure new equipment and systems according to specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare reports on equipment status and repair activities.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment and systems are functioning
• Implement quality control measures to prevent future issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams.
• Assist in training users on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist engineer for technical and troubleshooting machine on engineering product.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualification & Experience :

Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Certificate with 2 yrs experience in semiconductor industry.
