Job summary

ASE Electronics Malaysia in Penang seeks an experienced assembly engineer to support process control, machine buyoffs, and equipment conversions. You will coordinate with production to ensure smooth transitions from setup to production and minimize downtime while maintaining process criteria.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronic/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in semiconductors, and proficiency with basic technical and computer tools (Excel, Word).

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in semiconductor assembly engineering.
• Good knowledge of simple technical and computer soft skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Desirable: basic electrical and machine troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform shifty buyoff on the critical process machine parameter buyoff within process control.
• Perform shifty buyoff to ensure meeting process criteria and requirements.
• Perform equipment conversion and setup and buyoff the machine within process control before release to production mode.
• Attend machine downtime and ensure repair and release back to production mode.
• Work closely with production on the machine conversion plan and execute according to the plan.
