Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks a capable Facility Technician (LV Chargeman) to support LV and emergency power systems compliance and reliability. The role covers inspection, maintenance planning in CMMS, and on-call responses.
You will perform electrical energization/deenergization, assist with safety protocols, and prepare detailed job reports. A minimum of 2 years in the field is expected, with preference for 12-hour shift availability.
To ensure Low Voltage (LV), Emergency Power system including Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and downstream distribution system reliability in compliance with the applicable laws, including OSHA/EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Bomba and other regulatory governing bodies, including conformance to Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, safety and system requirements.
Key responsibilities
Perform weekly facilities inspection
Withdraw job request from OVSC (job request system) and execute with approval by client or the authorized person assigned by client
Assist FC/client representative to perform preparation for the planned maintenance in CMMS system, including permit-to-work, supervision for planned maintenance, and ensuring safety and health during work
Prepare facilities job report for every visit in log book or in softcopy if provided
Repair maintenance for pantry appliances (oven, fridge, related appliance)
Assist FC and client representative with tasks not far from the job scope
24 hours on call standby for critical equipment including power system interruption, cooling system abnormal, fire protection system abnormal, water leaks detection system abnormal, and any alarm or tripping from these systems
Electrical energization and deenergization including electrical T&C
QAQC involvement for electrical system
About you
More than 2 years experience working as facility technician (LV Chargeman)
Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
Ability to work on 12 hours shifts is preferred
