Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with HT/LV switchboards and transformers is essential.
• Familiarity with ST requirements and Electricity Regulations.

Responsibilities

Job description

Manage and oversee the safe operation, maintenance, inspection, and performance of the factory's 33KV high-voltage electrical systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the operation and maintenance of HT/LV switchboards, transformers, switchgear, and TNB power supply systems, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis to minimize power interruptions and equipment breakdowns

Act as the primary point of contact for electrical power failures, equipment breakdowns, and emergency situations

Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment, maintain proper records, and prepare technical and maintenance reports

Ensure all electrical operations and maintenance activities comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements, Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations, and applicable safety standards

Liaise with TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, contractors, and other relevant authorities on electrical-related matters and statutory requirements

Promote electrical safety by conducting safety briefings, training, and awareness programs for relevant personnel

Implement and continuously improve electrical safety and preventive maintenance practices to enhance equipment reliability and workplace safety

Provide 24 hour emergency support and function as the initial first response to emergency situations

Carry out routine inspections on the property with standard checklist, identify any defects or irregularities and follow up with tenant on necessary repair, reinstatement, or regularization
