Job summary

PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD (PAC) is seeking skilled personnel for bending-related fabrication. You will handle punching, laser cutting, and bending operations, read engineering drawings, and maintain safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• SPM equivalent or technical certificate.
• 2–3 years' experience in punching/laser cutting processes.
• Proven experience operating sheet metal bending equipment (e.g., press brakes).
• Experience with CNC bending or other advanced fabrication technologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bending operations align with safety requirements for machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings before bending, provide feedback, and consult supervisor if unclear.
• Perform bending operations and maintain tool integrity and housekeeping at workstations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on kaizen projects and process improvements.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and measure finished products against requirements.
