Job summary

SINAR TEKNIK URUS HARTA SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment Officer to ensure compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations across multiple sites.

The role involves regulatory reporting, risk management, incident investigations and development of internal guidelines. The candidate should have at least 5 years of SHE experience, a relevant diploma or degree, and completion of the NIOSH Safety & Health Officer Course.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment at the workplace.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and EQA 1974.
• Professional certifications in safety, health or environment are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workplace operations to ensure compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations and standards.
• Support regulatory reporting, audits and compliance documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Assist in emergency response planning and procedures.
• Facilitate safety, health and environmental training.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate effectively with teams across sites.
