Job summary

MALTIMUR RESOURCES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Health & Safety Officer for the Northern Coastal Highway Sarawak project in Lawas. You will develop and implement safety programs, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations across project sites.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Occupational Safety and Health, a DOSH Green Book, and 7–10 years of relevant experience, with the ability to coordinate with contractors and project managers to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
• DOSH Green Book and related regulatory qualifications.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations across project sites.
• Develop, implement and compile health and safety programs at project sites.
• Conduct regular health and safety briefings and meetings with main contractors.
• Review Main Contractor Health and Safety Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Identify hazards on site and recommend control measures to mitigate risk.
• Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE and inspect PPE condition.
• Prepare Monthly Health & Safety Reports for PMO submission.
