Job summary

EDUBEST PLANTATION HOLDINGS SDN BHD is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) Officer with a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance under Malaysia's Environmental Quality Act and Occupational Safety and Health Act, including air pollution control and sustainability audits.

The role includes managing SHE documentation, audits, permits, licenses, and reporting, while coordinating with regulatory authorities

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant EHS experience; fresh graduates with qualification and strong interest may be considered.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental, safety, and health legislation (EQA 1974; OSH Act 1994).
Familiarity with air pollution control systems and regulatory reporting requirements.
Experience in SHE documentation, audits, permits, licenses, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with EQA 1974, OSH Act 1994, OSH (Amendment) Act 2022, and all applicable regulations.
Liaise with authorities (DOE, DOSH) for inspections, licensing, reporting, and compliance.
Maintain permits, licenses, records, monitoring reports, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate stack emission monitoring, environmental testing, and reporting with consultants.
