Job summary

RBC Malaysia, Putrajaya, is seeking an operations professional to support Settlement and Clearing for Foreign Exchange and Money Market trades across global trading desks. You will confirm, settle and process trades in line with bank rules and internal procedures.

The role requires flexibility to cover EMEA hours, strong analytical and communication skills, and a mindset focused on operational risk management and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in settlement/clearing operations or related roles.
• Basic working knowledge of SWIFT, Real Time Payment Systems, and international settlement rules.
• Understanding of operational risk and control frameworks.
• Ability to analyze business processes and work across shifts to cover EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and settle FX and MM trades.
• Ensure transactions follow bank rules, standing orders, and local requirements.
• Complete daily processing and settlement tasks accurately.
• Conduct intra-day and end-of-day checks; escalate issues as needed.
• Provide relief support and other duties across the teams.
