Job summary

Chempro Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a service technician to install, commission, calibrate and test equipment at customer locations in Malaysia. You will provide preventative maintenance and repair, build strong client relationships, and document actions for records.

A customer-focused mindset and teamwork are essential. Applicants should hold a SPM/ Diploma, with 1 year experience, and be fluent in Malay, English, and Mandarin where possible.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a SPM/ Diploma in any field.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (preferred).
• Possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, calibration and testing at customer’s location.
• Provide preventive maintenance and repair at customer location.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers/customers and co-workers.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints and identifying solutions.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring all service works shall be carry out in timely manner in order to achieve minimum down time.

Installation, commissioning, calibration and testing the equipment at customer’s location.

Provide preventative maintenance and repair services at customer location in accordance with Company’s procedures, techniques, tools, test equipment and replacement of parts.

Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with supplies/customers and co-workers through teamwork.

Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements.

Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.

Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT :

A minimum of a SPM/ Diploma in any field. Prefer Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Good command in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (preferred).

Possess own transport.
