Job summary

Atlantis Motor Group Malaysia is seeking a Service Technician for an on-site role based in Shah Alam. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and communicate service findings to service advisors and customers while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled servicing and corrective work on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Support on-site inspections, test drives, and occasional off-site service needs.
• Explain technical issues clearly to customers, manage expectations.
• Read and interpret service manuals, technical documents, and diagnostic reports.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Experience or certification in automotive field is preferred.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Shah Alam. The Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting problems, and carrying out corrective actions to ensure vehicle safety and performance. The role involves working closely with the service team, communicating clearly with service advisors, and providing professional support to customers regarding vehicle conditions and recommended services. The Service Technician is also expected to maintain accurate service records, follow safety procedures, and keep work areas organized and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills to perform scheduled servicing and corrective work on vehicles.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently and accurately.
• Candidates should possess Field Service skills to support on-site inspections, test drives, and occasional off-site service needs.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to explain technical issues clearly, manage expectations, and maintain positive client relationships.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in an automotive workshop or service center is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical documents, and diagnostic reports.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
