Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site installation, wiring, commissioning support, routine inspection, and basic fault handling for LV distribution cabinets. You will work with engineers to ensure safe and efficient operation.

The position requires 2+ years of LV cabinet experience, reading schematics, and practical skills with hand tools. Frequent travel to client sites is expected, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical or mechatronics is required.
• Minimum 2 years of LV cabinet installation, wiring, or field service.
• Valid Low Voltage Electrical Operation Certificate (mandatory). High Voltage, Welding, or height certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Wiring – Cabinet positioning, busbar connections, primary/secondary wiring, cable laying and terminal tightening per drawings.
• Commissioning Support – Assist engineers with power-on testing, parameter setup, and no-load/load trials; record operational data.
• Inspection & Maintenance – Perform routine inspections on running equipment; check component conditions, busbar temperature rise, and connection points.
• Basic Fault Handling – Independently resolve simple faults (replace indicator lights, fuses, MCBs, auxiliary contacts); perform preliminary fault diagnosis and escalate complex issues.
• Service Support – Maintain service records (man-hours, material consumption); keep work areas clean and organized; assist with customer training as needed.
• Safety Compliance – Strictly follow electrical safety procedures, wear proper PPE, and comply with all customer site safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Wiring– Cabinet positioning, busbar connections, primary/secondary wiring, cable laying, and terminal tightening per drawings.

• Inspection & Maintenance– Perform routine inspections on running equipment; check component conditions, busbar temperature rise, and connection points; carry out cleaning, tightening, and lubrication.
• Basic Fault Handling– Independently resolve simple faults (replace indicator lights, fuses, MCBs, auxiliary contacts); perform preliminary fault diagnosis and escalat*e complex issues.
• Service Support– Maintain service records (man‑hours, material consumption); keep work areas clean and organized; assist with customer training as needed.

Qualifications

Education:Technical secondary school/vocational school or above in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience:2+ years in LV cabinet installation, wiring, commissioning, or field service. Experience in industrial plants or construction projects is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficient in primary/secondary wiring and terminal connections
• Familiar with common LV components (breakers, contactors, relays, indicators, etc.)
• Skilled in using hand tools (screwdrivers, wire-strippers, crimpers, multimeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices

Soft Skills:Strong hands‑on ability, attention to detail, able to safely perform site‑based electrical work, team‑oriented, adaptable to frequent travel.

Certifications:ValidLow Voltage Electrical Operation Certificate(mandatory). High Voltage, Welding, or work‑at‑height certification.
