Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales services for LV distribution cabinets. The role requires travel between Kuala Lumpur and Johor with projects mainly in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities include installation, fault diagnosis, customer training, post-service reporting, and adherence to safety standards to ensure reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Systems, or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on LV distribution cabinet installation, commissioning, field service, or after-sales support.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; familiarity with LV components.
• Willingness to travel frequently between Kuala Lumpur and Johor.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation guidance, power-on commissioning, and functional verification for LV switchgear.
• Verify wiring drawings, confirm terminations, and resolve faults during commissioning.
• Collaborate with customers to complete system integration testing and ensure operation per specs.
• Respond to service requests, travel to site promptly, diagnose faults with action plans.
• Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance personnel on operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare field service and commissioning reports to ensure traceability, and support knowledge sharing.
• Strictly follow on-site safety protocols and customer site access requirements.
