Job summary

MTR SOLUTIONS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily operations in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The role requires planning, assigning and monitoring tasks, and guiding technicians to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction. You will monitor performance, enforce safety procedures and maintain essential records, while coordinating with management on operational matters. This position offers hands-on leadership in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities.
• Plan, assign and monitor daily tasks, work orders and operational checklists for the team.
• Lead and guide technicians/general workers in carrying out assigned duties.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, discipline and productivity.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to company procedures, safety requirements and client requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and ensure necessary corrective actions are taken.
• Monitor the condition and proper usage of tools, machinery and company equipment.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, Team Leaders and management on operational matters.
• Prepare and maintain basic operational records, reports and documentation when required.
• Ensure the work area is safe, clean and properly maintained.
• Support manpower planning and ensure sufficient manpower for daily operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
