Job summary

SP BINA BUILDERS (M) SDN BHD is seeking a site-based supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, ensuring works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules. You will coordinate subcontractors, workers and suppliers, monitor manpower and materials, conduct site inspections, and maintain accurate records and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and work schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Plan and monitor daily manpower, materials, tools, and machinery requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure work quality meets project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Identify site issues, delays, defects, and safety concerns and report them to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and other site representatives.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized work site.
• Ensure workers follow safety requirements, PPE requirements, PTW, and site safety procedures.
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure they comply with approved specifications.
• Maintain daily site records, including manpower, weather, work progress, materials received, machinery, and site activities.
• Prepare daily progress updates, site reports, inspection records, and other required documentation.
• Attend site meetings, toolbox meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings when required.
• Monitor and verify completed works before requesting inspection or approval.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues on site.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant authority requirements, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project targets for time, cost, quality, and safety.
