Astrid Electronics (SEA) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Service Engineer in Malaysia to support UPS, rectifier, inverter and battery systems with hands-on expertise.

You will perform installation, testing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across site operations in a dynamic, structured environment. The role requires travel, independent work, and strong communication in English, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
• Willing to travel outstation and work independently.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft software and AutoCAD.
• Possess own transport and flexible to work overtime when required.
• Positive mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on support for UPS, Rectifier, Inverter, and Battery Systems.
• Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Support site preparation, system commissioning, and operations improvement projects.
• Handle technical enquiries and provide timely issue resolution.
• Install and configure hardware/software; resolve basic network issues.
• Maintain and update technical and procedural documentation.
• Support roll-out of new applications and evaluate new technologies.
• Manage multiple service cases efficiently and professionally.
