Job summary

Kejuruteraan Powerwellrequires an Electrical Site Engineer to manage and monitor multiple site work requests across construction sites in Malaysia. You will coordinate with the Project Team and clients to ensure timely completion, safety compliance, and accurate cost tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years working experience in electrical switchgear or switchboard related fields.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination with project teams and clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and arrange multiple site work requests from internal & external works.
• Prepare and issue Site Work Request Forms and manage documents in server.
• Supervise, coordinate and control activities of site work with Project Team & Customer.
• Provide briefing to the team for target duration and achievement of goals to completion work.
• Assign duties to staff and transportation to implement project goals at site.
• Provide training and safety at site to maintain healthy working environment.
• Discuss and assist Project Team to study and plan for the site work.
• Evaluate and monitor site work costing and update latest cost requirements.
• Assist Project Team to prepare and review site work quotations.
• Source and engage outsource services; liaise with sub-contractors on price review.
• Prepare required ISO SOP documents for metal parts & components and ensure order correctness.
• Arrange site survey requests and coordinate with site PIC on required works.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Improvise on existing site work planning to improve feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide support to Technicians at site and carry out daily operational tasks.

Manage, monitor and arrange multiple site work request from internal & external works.

Prepare and issue Site Work Request Form and manage documents folder for hardcopy & softcopy in the server.

Supervise, arrange, coordinates and control activities of the Site Work requested with Project Team & Customer.

To provide briefing to the team for target duration and achievement of goal to completion work.

Assign duties to staff and transportation to implement project goals as needed for the Site Work.

To provide training and safety of work at site to the team from time to time to maintain healthy working environment among Team member at site.

To discuss and assist Project Team to study and plan for the request site work.

To evaluate and monitor site work costing and update Project and Marketing & Sales latest cost require.

To assist Project Team to prepare and review site work quotation.

Source and engage outsource services when require. Liaise with sub-contractor with price review and assign job.

Prepare required documents as per ISO SOP for Metal Parts & Components request. Review and ensure all components & metal parts prepared by Project & Fabrication Team are in order before attending site.

Arrange site survey request, coordinate and site requirements with site PIC on the works require.

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

Improvise on existing site work planning products and scheduling for the company in order to make them more feasible and cost effective for future growth.

To provide support and respond to Technician difficulties at site.

Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner.

Other duties and task given by management from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years working experience in the related field

Preferably candidate with experience in switchgear or switchboard industry

Must be able to communicate well with internal stakeholders and external clients

Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, or maintenance of electrical switchboards, LV distribution systems is an advantage.

Experience working at construction sites, industrial plants, commercial buildings, or data centers is preferred.

Willing to travel and work at project site
