Nifayyi Kopitiam is looking for a Service Crew to deliver warm customer service in a busy Ipoh café. You will assist with menu recommendations, take orders, and serve food and drinks while ensuring cleanliness and smooth daily operations.

The role involves basic food prep assistance, handling takeaway orders, and operating POS/QR payments. Candidates should be reliable, team players, and ready to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

The Service Crew/Café Crew is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth café operations, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in a modern Nasi Lemak fast-paced café. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming dining experience, supporting kitchen operations, and upholding hygiene and service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Front-of-House

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu recommendations.
• Take orders accurately (manual/QR ordering system depending on outlet).
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and promptly.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic customer feedback professionally.

Operational Support

• Assist in basic food preparation, plating, garnishing when required.
• Manage takeaway and delivery orders (GrabFood/FoodPanda/etc.).
• Refill condiments, cutlery, and dining essentials.

Cashiering & POS

• Operate POS/QR payment systems.
• Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain proper sanitation of dining area, service counter, and equipment.
• Follow SOPs for handling food, waste segregation, and stock rotation (FIFO).

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with outlet team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, barista, and management teams.
• Support new crew training when required.

Other Duties

• Participate in stock counting, receiving goods, and basic inventory tasks.
• Assist in café events, promotions, and seasonal menu launches.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Outlet Supervisor/Manager.
