Qualifications

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth guest experience for customers: from stepping into the cafe, to getting their food accurately, within the promised time, to making them feel taken care of.
• Ensure cleanliness in the cafe and its surrounding.
• Understand each item in the menu, make recommendations and ensure customers are satisfied.
• Ensure all guests feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of.
• Greet customers in cheerful and welcoming manners, start a chat and engage with customers.
• Manage customers' expectations by listening and responding to their preference or requests.
• Coordinate reservations and table coordination in the cafe.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen team members.
• Manage unpleasant conversations and diffuse upset or uncomfortable customers.

About you

Fluency in English is a must, as you will be handling international customers.

Strong Communication Skills - greet customers in cheerful and welcoming manners, start a chat and engage with customers, display of pleasant non-verbal gestures.

Strong social awareness and interpersonal skills, manage customers' expectations by listening and responding to their preference or requests.

Reservations and table coordination in the cafe.

Coordination with service and kitchen team members. Because you won't be working alone, your collaboration skill is gold.

Creative skills, thinking and acting extra miles to provide outstanding guest experience.

Plus plus point +++: Having skills of managing unpleasant conversations, diffusing upset or uncomfortable (and sometimes, hangry) customers.

5-day working week
