Traders Hotel by Shangri-La in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic Service Associate – Housekeeping to clean, service and maintain guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation. You will support a positive guest experience by ensuring rooms are well-prepared, replenished, and maintained in a timely and efficient manner.

Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, sharp attention to detail, and good time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in maintaining standards.
• Good time management skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize guest rooms for arrival, stayover, and departure guests.
• Change bed linens and replace towels in accordance with hotel standards.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper room setup.
• Report lost and found items following established procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure sufficient stock of cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to departmental procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.

Job Summary: The Service Associate – Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning, servicing, and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. The role supports a positive guest experience by ensuring rooms are well-prepared, replenished, and maintained in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
