Job summary

Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam is seeking a Service Advisor (Automotive) in the Aftersales Department to greet customers, explain TROs for audit purposes, and manage claim-related documentation in Merimen System.

You will create repair orders, monitor job progress on the JPCB, update customers on approvals, repair times and delivery, handle incoming calls, and coordinate parts orders and insurance claims to ensure smooth service and prompt vehicle release.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend customer/callmen and maintain good customer relations.
• Explain and ensure customer acknowledge the TRO (Temporary Repair Order) for the audit purpose.
• Collect and upload necessary document for claim process in Merimen System.
• Create Repair order and ensure customer acknowledge before proceeding for claim process.
• Update on Job progress control board (JPCB) and monitor status report pending vehicles and repair progress.
• Follow up and update customer for Insurance approval, estimated repair time, repair status and delivery time.
• Answer inbound calls for outlet.
• Ensure customer’s concern are handled effectively and in timely manner.
• Assist and explain to customer regarding claim process and policy when necessary.
• Create parts ordering for customer by CRO (Customer Request Order) based on Insurance Approval.
• Create invoice for insurance claim, ensure customer signed Discharge Voucher (DV) and submit through Merimen System once vehicle completed and collected.
• Ensure adherence of work and claim policy and procedures.
• Prepare JPCB report and submit to relevant department monthly.
• Prepare monthly report to relevant department.

Key Responsibilities
