Job summary
Ecotreat Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to design and optimize municipal/industrial WWTPs. You will handle process design, hydraulics, PFDs/P&IDs, and technical documentation while supporting field testing and commissioning.
The role requires hands-on experience in site testing, pre-commissioning, start-up, and chemical dosing optimization, with willingness to travel to project sites in Malaysia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil or related engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of process design, sizing, mass/energy balance and hydraulics.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize WWTP process and hydraulic designs.
- Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, design basis and calculation sheets.
- Draft FAT/SAT plans, SOPs and O&M manuals.
- Lead pre-commissioning, dry/wet tests, loop checks and plant start-up.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and optimize dosing and operations.
- Conduct field testing and quality control with lab data.
- Travel to project sites (onshore/offshore) for testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
