Job summary

ams OSRAM, a global leader in innovative light and sensor solutions, seeks a capable maintenance engineer for its Wet department in Malaysia. You will provide line support for equipment setup, recovery, and corrective maintenance to meet KPIs and maximize equipment reliability.

The role includes troubleshooting advanced machines, working with Wet benches, spray tools, and single-wafer chambers (Veeco, Siconnex, SCREEN), applying 5S and safety rules, and contributing to cost reduction while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical & electronics, mechanical, chemical, automation or equivalent.
At least 3 years hands-on experience in Wet Benches, Spray tools, and single-wafer chamber systems with semiconductor/foundry exposure.
Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress.

Responsibilities

Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the Wet department.
Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
Advance machine troubleshooting with Wet tools knowledge (Metal Lift-off, Chemical Spray tool, Wet Benches, SRD tool).
Conformance to 5S and safety rules; support new tools setup, installation & qualification.
