Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Malaysia invites seasoned technicians to join the Equipment Engineering team. You will perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot failures, and support startup activities in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least 5 years of front-end wafer fabrication equipment experience, with strong knowledge of OEE, SPC, FDC, FMEA, and DMAIC.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment experience.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment scheduled maintenances according to the maintenance schedules and specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform unscheduled maintenances to ensure quality recovery and minimum down time.
• Prepare daily scheduled / unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activity reports for engineers and supervisors and maintain equipment spare parts and consumables
• Engage in equipment Continuous Improvement Programs and support new equipment hookup and startup activities.
• Adhere to company 5S, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Waste Management, Cleanroom Protocol and Total Quality Management System policies.
• Support activity related to production equipment, such as material preparation.
