Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. You will actively cross-sell banking products, provide tailored financial advice and review client portfolios to meet objectives.

You will engage with clients to understand risk, financial goals and preferences, while collaborating with product, credit and operations teams to deliver exceptional service and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Admin, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in relationship management in banking/financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
• Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets and investments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Integrity, professionalism and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Engage with clients to understand financial objectives, risk appetite and preferences.
• Provide comprehensive financial advice including deposits, loans, investments and wealth products.
• Conduct regular reviews and present financial proposals to clients.
• Acquire new high-net-worth clients through networking and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product, credit and operations teams to deliver seamless service.
• Prepare and present reports and market insights to clients.
• Stay updated on market trends to provide informed advice.
• Resolve client inquiries efficiently and professionally.
