Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites a seasoned Project Manager for water infrastructure projects, overseeing delivery from planning to handover. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and authorities, and ensure safety, quality and schedule compliance.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in water-related civil projects, BEM-registered or PE status, and strong leadership with excellent stakeholder management and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing projects from planning to handover.
• Experience with large-scale EPC or water treatment projects is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop project strategies, execution plans and implementation programmes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from planning through handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary works across civil, mechanical, electrical, process systems.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and implement mitigations.
• Manage budgets, contracts, variation orders and claims.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, method statements and testing.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Provide leadership to project teams and report progress to stakeholders.
