Job summary

Jora Malaysia is looking for a civil engineer to lead planning, design and coordination of infrastructure projects including earthworks, drainage and roadworks. You will review drawings, calculations and submissions to meet standards and authority requirements.

You will coordinate with project teams, clients and authorities to ensure timely delivery and provide technical input for tenders and value engineering. Strong communication skills and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure design standards and local authority requirements.
• 5+ years of relevant civil infrastructure consultancy experience.
• Good coordination, analytical and technical reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planning, design and coordination of civil infrastructure works including earthworks, drainage, roadworks, sewerage and water supply systems.
• Prepare, review and verify engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports and design submissions in compliance with applicable standards, guidelines and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractor and relevant authorities to ensure timely and effective delivery of consultancy services.
• Provide technical input and support during tender preparation, proposal submissions and value engineering exercises.
• Ensure design quality, constructability and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
