Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Visual Merchandiser (F&B) to deliver elevated in-store branding and drive sales. You will lead floor displays, promotions, and layout optimization, while ensuring strict food safety and stock rotation.

This role requires FMCG experience, planogram proficiency, and hands-on collaboration with marketing and operations. You will also coordinate new store openings, events, and renovations, reporting to the General Manager of Consumer Experience.

Qualifications

• FMCG experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environments.
• Experience with planogram systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with graphic software is a plus.

Report to: General Manager of Consumer Experience (dotted line to GM - (F&B))

The Senior Visual Merchandiser (F&B) is responsible for achieving an elevated visual merchandising presentation that results in a highly branded emotional in-store experience and improves sales results. This position requires a person who drives results by developing and executing short term action plans and long-term strategies. Partnering with and supports the broader Sales & Operations Leadership Team to optimize the use of real estate to drive profitable sales growth and build brand equity.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on Execution: Actively manage and execute floor displays and visual setups.
• Promotional Setups: Manage the implementation of standard promotions, including Gondola Ends , block stacks, standees, and thematic displays.
• Commercial Floor Optimization: Continually audit and adjust store layouts to maximize sales per square foot and improve inventory turnover for slow-moving SKUs.
• Shrinkage & Compliance Control: Ensure visual setups comply with strict food safety, cleanliness, and stock rotation guidelines (FIFO) specifically for fresh bakery items.
• A/B Layout Testing: Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to run localised display tests, tracking lift in basket size and promotional redemption rates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Merchandising/Marketing team to coordinate and align promotional rollouts.
• Event Management: Oversee the visual setup and layout coordination for OOS events and activations.
• New Store Launches: Lead and coordinate visual merchandising setups for new store openings.
• Renovations & Refurbishments: Oversee VM adjustments during store renovations or refurbishments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• FMCG Experience: Proven background handling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environments.
• Planogram Systems: Experience working with planogram systems.
• Software Knowledge: Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint (ability to use graphic softwares such as Adobe Creative Suites will be an added advantage).
• Possesses own mode of transportation (preferably a car).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM4,500.00 per month
