Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Visual Merchandising Executive to shape in-store experiences across our retail stores. You will design and implement eye-catching displays, manage window setups, and ensure product styling aligns with brand storytelling.

The role requires hands-on work, a sharp eye for detail, and collaboration with marketing and operations to roll out seasonal concepts. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative culture and staff product privileges.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle retail.
• Must have high integrity, accountability, and passion for retail visual presentation.
• Solid understanding of space planning, store flow, and aesthetic balance.

Responsibilities

• Create impact displays through window, zoning, and product styling to drive foot traffic.
• Lead in-store launches, seasonal setups, promotions, and POP installations.
• Audit store presentations regularly and train staff to maintain VM standards.
• Collaborate with retail operations and marketing to translate seasonal concepts to floor.

What You’ll Do

• Create Impactful Displays: Design and execute eye-catching window displays, merchandise zoning, and product styling that drive foot traffic and customer interest.
• Lead In-Store Launches: Coordinate seasonal setups, promotional rollouts, and POP installations; roll up your sleeves to assemble and refresh displays.
• Maintain Visual Standards: Visit stores regularly to audit presentations, ensure visual consistency, and train store associates on maintaining VM standards.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the retail operations and marketing teams to bring seasonal concepts from plan to floor.

What We’re Looking For

• The Right Mindset: High integrity, strong accountability, and a true passion for retail visual presentation.
• Proven Track Record: At least 2 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience (footwear, apparel, or lifestyle retail background is a plus).
• Creative & Practical Eye: Solid understanding of space planning, store flow, and aesthetic balance.
• Essential Toolkit: Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus everyday tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
